A new competition for all employees of the Group, its subsidiaries and branches!
By bringing together the energy and determination of more than 40 volunteers, Alliance Sportive de Crédit Mutuel is offering you a major challenge: The Playades 2024!
A bit of culture…
The Pleiades, or M45 cluster, is an open cluster of stars that can be observed from both hemispheres, in the constellation of Taurus. Interesting but… let’s get back to our topics!
The term Pleiades, well known in astronomy, made us think of the constellation of the sports, the stars of the sports, by mixing that with the fact of playing, the Playades were born (Thanks Ema for being the author)!
A bit of history…
The Playades 2024 are the 6th edition of our sports meeting (ou sport event) of our company
The history is listed below:
- Last edition in Granville with 660 participants in 2017 (Crédit Mutuel only).
- Saint-Jean-de-Monts in 2014.
- Lille in 2011.
- Strasbourg in 2008.
- Arles in 2005.
That’s all well and good, but in practice…
In concrete terms, this is the official name of the new edition of the competition reserved for employees..
It will be held from May 8th to 12th, 2024 at the Strasbourg site. Reserve your diaries!
The volunteers are already working in 12 teams in a very efficient and cohesive way to prepare a major sporting event for you: sports, infrastructure, entertainment, rescue and safety, transport, accommodation, catering, communication, registration, administration, budget, management.
The spirit of these Playades is the meeting of playful and sporting activities with the aim of strengthening the links between the employees of the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale Group and its subsidiaries.
The environment and Green issues are also at the heart of our concerns. For this, contacts have been made with Eco-Manifestations Alsace for advice and labeling. A CO2 budget will be made with the different poles.
In addition, the event will be as much as possible in a logic of awareness with:
- Eco-responsible governance.
- Management and awareness of the stakeholders.
- Respect and involvement of participants and spectators.
- The protection of the environment.
- The promotion of ethical values.
- Territorial anchoring and heritage.
Pre-registration will be open in the coming months and periodic communications will be made throughout the preparation to guide you in any questions you may have.
