MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

Sporting aspects

  • Is there a sport level requirement?

This is not a sports discovery event.

While it is not necessary to have a specific ranking or level to participate in an activity, it is nevertheless important to know enough about the sport to be able to participate in a competition without it penalising the planned activities.

The levels can be very different. Depending on the activity, the competition will be organised to allow playing time for all levels.

  • Which sports are considered collective?

For the purposes of the Playades, a sport is considered to be collective if it is compulsory to form a team in order to take part.

  • What equipment is provided for the sport?

The answer varies according to the sport, see the description of each sport

  • Do I need to provide a medical certificate?

Due to a problem with the registration tool, medical certificates will be requested at a later date.

Travel – catering

  • Can I travel to Strasbourg by myself?

This point should be discussed with your delegation’s contact person.

  • How will I get around once I’m there?

Every effort will be made to avoid the need for participants to use a vehicle.

Depending on the location of the hotel and activities, a public transport pass or a bicycle will be offered to the participant, or shuttles will be organized.

TER: free of charge, subject to availability

Intercités and TGV Inoui :
